Pros: inexpensive; very easy to open. Looks nice.

Cons: Very difficult to close back up; essentially falls apart. Compatibility: wasn't recognized by a USB 3.0 port on a pc and ran at usb 1.1 speeds on a Mac under a Linux live CD, though works at normal speeds under MacOS x and Windows 7.

Not terrible, not great.

Device was shipped quickly and packed well enough it arrived on time and undamaged. It is well built and has a nice appearance for standing on my desk. It was very easy to utilize and shpould out last the hard drive I put in it.

Open the case (just the thumbscrews on the "ineo" side only, that you see in the picture, not the back ones, if you want it to be easy!), plug in your sata drive, screw it back together, and put the small included phillips screws in the back. Attach both ends of the USB 2.0, power up, and start storing ones and zeros! Nothing else to it. I did this with a 1TB sata drive out of a Maxtor Central Axis NAS (do NOT buy one of those), and it was that easy to recover all my data that seemed lost forever as far as Maxtor was concerned. I don't sound bitter, do I? Anyway, the ineo was a lifesaver that was as easy to use as plugging everything in. Highly recommended. BTW, does anyone know of an NAS that actually works and serves media easily to clients like TVs and Stereos?
